CLE | Reproductive Justice & Healthcare in Texas

Description

The CLE will discuss abortion access and regulations in Texas, including ongoing litigation regarding the six-week ban and Texas’s pre-Roe and post-Dobbs criminal prohibitions on abortion providers. The CLE will identify related surveillance, enforcement, civil, and criminal legal tools that have been deployed to chill further abortion access post-Dobbs and strategies for practitioners to protect themselves and their clients in this environment.  We will discuss emerging threats and opportunities for reproductive justice and healthcare.
